I was the lucky winner of the prize offered by cacman: The U.S. Marshals Service 225th Anniversary 2015 Proof Silver Dollar by The U.S. Mint. It is a great coin, which will be a welcome piece to my fledgling collection of U.S. silver dollars.
You all know how big of a box a silver dollar in a display case would fit into, right? And how much it weighs, right? I was expecting an envelope, at most a SFR. I didn't think that heavy MFR that was as solid and heavy as a couple of bricks was the coin. Then I saw the return addy on the box, from cacman, and said "oh sh**........"
That sucker threw in so much stuff and meticulously packaged them that it took me awhile to find the coin. Here's the tsunami of stuff I waded through: 2 cans of Pinner Throwback IPA, a bag of Mesa Verde Spicy Snack Mix, two CLIF protein bars - all to be enjoyed while watching a John Wayne 25 movie tribute collection DVD. There were items to be used for playing time with my grandson: Silly Putty, a set of 6 dice, a cocktail sized paper umbrella and 4 stickers from Colorado breweries and an eatery that can be used as a gameboard.
cacman also put in stuff for the cigar enthusiast of the Tat hoe persuasion:
Tat Black cg
Tat M80!!!
Tat Reserva
Tat Tattoo 10 Miami
Tat Verocu
Vato Las Vegas Blend Don Pablo
To get the ball rolling, there was a double guillotine cutter!!!
This is an astounding selection of goodies, Carl. I am truly lucky to have been selected to receive it. Thank you very much.
Thanks to Mikey for running the show, and to all the cbidders who gave and contributed. Most of all, thank you, to our men and women in the military, who protect us all over the world.
