I'm NOT kidding around this time. I needed help and I went and got some.

I go to another AA meeting at 12:00 and start my outpatient treatment at 3:00.

Good luck, Wheel.

About 14 years ago, I wanted to 'take a break' and see if I could go a week without a drink, expecting to fail miserably. I'm still on that break. It gets easier...never truly effortless.

Aint that the truth....if its any consolation, its rarely a lot of fun for the x-drunk....my ex (wife, not drunk) used to beg me to start drinking again since I'd become so boring....I've come to embrace boring. And, I seriously doubt Bill is capable of being boring no matter how long since his last drink.

As it sits now, I rarely have more than 2 drinks in one sitting.

The day I can't stop at one will be the day I quit drinking.

I've seen too many lives wrecked because of it.

Aint that the truth....if its any consolation, its rarely a lot of fun for the x-drunk....my ex (wife, not drunk) used to beg me to start drinking again since I'd become so boring....I've come to embrace boring. And, I seriously doubt Bill is capable of being boring no matter how long since his last drink.
