I've seen the pics, you can fish! And if hot dogs are what works for a bass that size, then hot dogs it is! You still found him, still brought him in... It wasn't dumb luck...

As a disc golfer, I never really understood the passion for "stick" as we call it. But once hooked on disc golf I understand it very well. It's not just excecuting a good shot, although that is a large part of, it's managing a round, managing the course, managing the game within the context you are playing, whether it be casual golf with friends or a tournament round. But, I gotta tell you stick golfers, I very rarely run into a disc golfer of any skill level that bottoms out to hating the game, despising themselves and their efforts. Number one rule of disc golf - Have fun!{;-)

At that point it is more fishing than golf.

I've always said golf is a great hobby for people who can't fish...

You fail to see the big picture grasshopper. My old neighbor in California carries a Popiel Pocket Fisherman in his bag and has been known to bag a bass or two at the pond next to the 15th tee box at the Course at Wente in NorCal.

Just got in from a lesson:

The club is never near the body

See the line, follow the line

Hit down on the ball

No right thumb casting

Arms straight, what happens behind happens in front.

Let the club do the work

Don't tee of with a cigar in your mouth

Played my first round of golf in over a decade recently. Yep, a few shots reminded of why I quit. But the few that looked like golf shots on TV and went where they were supposed or farther hooked me.

And next to triggering off a good explosion, or a well-tuned motorcycle there is no sound quite like a golf ball falling into the cup!
