Cat is doing a little better. She's up and about a little, went outside to use the bathroom, and even ate some freeze dried salmon.

Delta, my door is always open to my family. Always. I have reached out, written letters, sent emails, been to the funerals. For religious reasons, they choose to shun me. Not because I do horrible things, or because I am a bad person, but because I left the region I was born into and that was forced upon me and their faith requires it. I don't challenge that, but I do lament the cost of their mindset.

Going back to their way of life just to reconcile would be a lie, and a diminishment if my self and my values. But I still love them all and hurt when there is loss and pain for them. I thank you for your kind thoughts for them.
