Why do people over bid on items that you they can buy directly from CI for a cheaper price? Ex. the fall spook spectacular sampler has 2 bids at $85.00 each, they can buy it outright from CI for $79.95. I'm sure CI loves these guys but I don't get it, maybe I'm the stupid one.](*,)

Oh, and PM staffers for membership requirements. The diamond encrusted platinum membership provides protection against overbidding. They'll cut that price down on an overbid instantly for one of their own.

don't listen to these clowns......

99% of the "overbidders" are most likely Platinum Plus Members.

Thus, their bids (if over the CI normal price) are automatically reduced by 50% at the close of the auction.

Just call Customer Service, ask for Trish, and she'll explain the details on how to get the membership.

I think it's like $100, and then you have to order $50/month after that, or something like that........

I've been watching the Gurkha spec ops, they usually sell for around $90- $100 on here. CI has them on sale for $99, then last night I see one of the auctions I'm watching has a QB buyer, dude paid $125 for something that's on sale for $99.

Just saying it's all good really, I buy some but I like watching to see where cigars sell at more and more. I bid on boxes of t52s at $150 just so I can see them sell for $280+!!! No way in hell will I win the box but then I can click on my outbid auctions and see what they sold for.
