Of course, I brought in a top shelf selection for the drive home and celebrating a back spasm finally letting go so I can ride the motorcycle again tomorrow.

Tough choices:

LP Dirty Rat (NH)
LP Papas Fritas (NH-want to see what the fuss is all about)
Tatuaje 10 year Bon Chasseur

Leaning toward the Papas Fritas and saving the Dirty Rat for when I'm not driving

You consider a cigar made from scraps and floor sweepings to be a top shelf selection??? 🤦 Where's the love for Swishers?

So I guess we are bombing Mandoman AND Bur with PIs???

Not required as I've been "re-NOOB-ed" more than once, but if somebody wants to get a "pass the trash" dog rocket exchange going, I'm always open for trying different $1 CBid cigars (or less-some of my yard gars average less moolah) I rarely have the time to enjoy what most you guys consider average cigars without also working/driving....

The Papas Fritas was good but no subtlety or blending of flavors-I guess that's what happens when it's mixed filler. Everything blended together for a "full" blast. And CAC, I call it a "top shelf" selection because of the "fan boy" bidding and retail price. The whole time I was smoking it I was thinking "For $5 there are plenty of long filler cigars I enjoy more".

Puros Indios in the early 90's during the boom. THOSE were good cigars.
The more recent versions should embarrass old man Reyes.

I said early 90's, but I think it was actually late 90's/early 2000's.

I'm thinking 1998 to 2002 time frame.

I don't think I even had one prior to then.

Either way, they were MUCH different back then.
And they were yummy.

Actual quote from a younger tailgater:
"I don't know why they even make any other cigars"

Yup.
THAT good.

And now?
