The distribution of whiskey is mind boggling... My local in TX always has Sazerac... But they NEVER have ETL or Blantons.. Until this year, they usually had Weller12 too.. 😣

If you want your hands on some allocated stuff, you better buy a butt load of regular in stock items. ( store owners I mean).

Example:

I have a prissy guy that wants to run a boutique style "hard to find" store. Yet he's not willing to buy normal items. He's crazy if he thinks he gets first dibs on my allocated bourbon.

If you have to have the rare stuff, build a relationship with the owner and spend some coin with him.
