Sounds inviting...but pricey, especially after the expenses for the Memorial Day trip. Then, everyone (Darren's family and Anthony and his brother's family, my wife and I and Anthony's mom and dad) are going to da Big Island for a week at the end of July.

Me, the wife, and son are going to NY for 4th of July weekend with my sister... but I already paid for that trip. Used CC points to make it $600 cheaper.

Shaun, we do fish for the big drum off the oyster beds. These fish get up to a 100lbs. Not much of a fighter. The scales on the drum fish are huge, need a hoe to skin them. The fillets are big and chunky, they call it the poor mans lobster.

Yeah those are the ones, love the fillets from them and learned that smoking the ribs is very good as well even though most throw them out. Seen a hatchet used pretty well to get the scales off as well. Even though I missed out on the fishing trip yesterday hoping they caught some cause I will still get to eat what they caught.

How was college for your daughter?

Hoping to get together with the kids, even if not all at once, and seeing the granddaughter is a priority.

Looks like Saturday might be a beach day.

They didn't catch any drum on the trip I missed out on so they booked another one for Sunday 2:30 and I am in on it. Excited to go out and catch some drum on the holiday weekend. Cigars and beers will definitely be had.

Went to the local parade this morning to honor those serving, served and fallen. The memorial line at the end gets longer every year... so sad. Went to a local cemetery and said thank you to the veterans laid to rest there.

Thank you to all who have/are serving.

You're sacrifice and dedication are greatly appreciated.

Cutting grass, fixing shale road by hand- shovel- wheelbarrow, clearing culverts, laying chicken wire fencing around vege's, pruning, mulching, composting, moved And a half ton of coal in 50 gallon lidded metal barrels (6)to my Neighbor's flat bed trailer for felling four massive dead ash trees that may have fallen on my cabin Or my cool Hops garden ( not anymore, He felled them perfectly , three in a row And the third one he cut to actually hit the fourth dead one And knocked it down without having to cut it!!)

And

Beer and CIGARS !!
