If the OP matters still, I mean, I like turtles too... anyway-

I've ordered from them (not the turtles) and not had any issue. Prompt delivery and good communications, authentic product as far as I can tell from all the box info. and contents I've smoked.

People want what they can not have from Cuba. But the real facts is when the Castro Brother drove some of their most talented Cigar maker out of Cuba. These same people too hundreds of thousand of fine Cuban Cigar Tabacco seeds with them. Then these same people started growling tabacco from those seeds in Nicagraga, Dominican Repulbic, Honduras, and other places.

Guess what those seeds made more seeds, more tabacco, honestly in these new lands some of the very best Cigars I have ever smoked are from the grand children seeds of the seeds that left Cuba many years ago.

So the other thing is you have people with money, motivation to make more money, who have build better grown facilities, tabacco drying & curing facilities, and all the intra struck to make the very best Cigar in the world.

Cuban cigar inductry is behind the time like the 1958 Edsel that are to be found driving around the Castro Brother land of no opportunity. So if I can not convience you there are better Cigar to be had than over priced Cuban cigars. Goi for the Cubans if indeed that is what you want.

Me I am happy with 2016 Cigar that are from top companies that are not operating like it was still the 1950's.

More like a foul ball. Someone doesn't know of what they speak.....

They modernized somewhat (quality control measures) a few years ago and quality control is vastly improved.

Tell me why some brands advertise that they use old Cuban rolling methods?

Smoke what you like that's great, but you're off base and wrong.

Oh SnapperPants. People who say those things always make me smile. It's like saying you can take Bordeaux seeds out of France and still get the same wine.

Nut up and order some and see what happens. Funny when someone asks for advice about something illegal then gets pissed off because people call him out. [frypan] [spank]

It almost makes perfect sense, have a buddy that used to spout the same dribble.
Until someone *cough* handed him a PSD4 that was in the sweet spot. You could almost read "ohhhhh" on his face.
Off to the dark side he went.

Really why is that? Honestly asking a question like what is the best Cigar made with a Maduro wrapper I am sure will get you many answers. Ther experts will answer, and the non experts will answer. Fully thing is all are just expressions their opinions. Also you have to ask was the expert paid by someone to say their product was BEST.

We can measure thing like the fastest Olympic athlete in the male 100 metes foot race very easy. Dressage is is all about opinions, and sometime person like & dislike cloud opinions.

Because facts are true no matter what you think about them. There is a difference. You like this cigar or that one and that is fine, but that doesn't change the facts.

Asserting that Cuba has done no R&D since the 50s is simply incorrect. All of that seed you were talking about was meticulously cultivated over the course of decades, NC manufacturers are developing their cigars from stolen research essentially. New strains of tobacco are being developed all the time and manufacturers outside of Cuba are always trying to get their hands on what Cuba has done. Not the behavior you would expect from companies with a competitor supposedly 60 years behind the time.

Great quote!

Unfortunately, if most believed it, this'd be a pretty quiet place....LOL.

Snapper, I strongly disagree with your assessment. I know plenty of people out there who agree with much of it. However, while I haven't collected surveys, I feel safe to say that few of them have much personal experience with Cuban cigars. Sure, there's some ephemeral romance and for some, an appeal that has nothing to do with the sensory experience. But, I know of nobody with extensive experience with Cuban cigars who thinks they're generally inferior to any other.

Has anyone ordered from cigar one, if so are they legit cubans and what is your experience ordering from them?

(if this type of post isn't allowed, sorry in advance) 🇨🇮

Or maybe the day will come when trade restriction are life and the flow of Cuban will make it to the shore of the USA. I use to go to this border town not far from Yuma. They sold Cuban cigar, but I was warn by one of the merchants the buy his selling Chinese made counterfit, and the Cigar were not real.

If people thing Cuba is keep up wioth the rest of the world explain why the place is not full of Toyotas, Nissans, and other cars and truck of recent vintage. Why are they still driving 50's cars?

I will agree that Cigar makers in place like Hondouras, Nicagraga, Dominican Repulbic are working their back sides off to make or have made better Cigars that the Cuban are producing.

Like I said maybe the day will come when the J**Ka**es that run our government will open true free trade with Cuba. But now it take special consideration for the average American to go to Cuba. Unless your name is Jessie Jackson, from Chicago.
