Owning several guns, I was well aware of your 5.56 insinuation. Yes we do have strict gun laws, ( that I don't agree with) but you have to work with what you got. Overall I'll still take Jersey over most other states for the opportunities it offers.

Oh yeah, enjoy Kansas!

That's it for me as this is an overbid thread!
Indeed, sorry for the sidetrack. My original comment was sarcastic in nature.

If you're ever through Kansas. Look me up we'll go bang some steel with 30 count mags. Cigars will be burned too of course. 🇨🇮

Will do. Would love to shoot off a 30 count mag. I will bring plenty of six to torch. Hopefully we will be able to loosen up our laws soon!

Back to overbids.

I've had a couple, but @ $179.00 for a fiver seems a bit steep.

Check out post number 673

Then again we all didn't go to D.Newell school on how to win on Cbid🍺

Can't own guns in the democratic people's republic of new joisey so why not overbid on ceegars?

That's a whole lotta 5.56 55 grain fmj or three 50ct boxes of mk 262 mod 1 shipped.

I'd seen these not too long ago close for just over $100.
Google searching techniques are covered in Chapter 4 of DP Newell's Guide to Cigar Auctions.

Not sure how seeing the current sale price from every online site is doing it wrong. but I'll check it out.

Take the La Aroma de Cuba Mi Amor Magnifico for example a box everywhere is $180-185 but I found one site that had them for 169.99 so best online price was 170 with free shipping. now Cbid had a good starting bid price and a QB for 149.50. once the bid was within $6.00 of the QB it did not make sense to bid. so I did the QB. the other box went for $166 that guy wasted $15.00 and probably broke even if he would have just highlighted the text and did a quick search. it's literally a mouse click to use the google search function.

this dude is a real moron!

If they go for less on here most of the time how good is your deal? If you could get them for $70 if you wait a couple weeks? You have watch and see what they usually go for, like stocks some days they are high some days they are low. or the FOGs will just laugh all the way to the bank.

I've said too much 🤦

Another blind Liga fanboy that doesn't realize you can buy these $20 cheaper elsewhere....everyfuckingday!

ETA: I'm noticing a pattern with this guy....wow

the scariest part about that is other folks bid those up that high against him as well 🤦

While they're annoying, I suppose it's donkeys like them that keep CBid going...after all, if CI wasn't making money off this site, it'd be long gone.

$39 bid, $37.50 at the mothership. Must be rewarding to go through all that bidding just to pay retail:

Nice cigar, though. At least he's not overpaying for crap.

This shows $19 for a 5er -- confused where the Overbidding comes in?

It does not. A fiver goes for about $30 on the mothership.

LOL!!!!

A 5er of Clermonts usually can be had for about $11, a box of 20 for mid $40's....so yeah, he overpaid. All good though, that's what keeps Cbid going for shrewd bidders.

Except that is not at all what is meant by Overbid for the purposes of this thread, as is discussed at length above
