Time is pretty darn precious.

Plus, I work all the overtime when it's available and I'm able which helps bring home extra money.
I don't live in a high rent area either. My house was in the 5 figure range, property tax around 1k.
For the amount of time I have off, I can't complain.
Bags of clothes are packed and ready to go
Tires all aired up including spares.
Still gotta chop up pallets for firewood and pick up a firewood tarp.
If the storms stay off the radar, gonna pick up tonight and head out. Radar's clear at the moment, but still forecasting 60% chance of thunderstorms mid afternoon.
Good morning

But the wife wouldn't like it and the ocean would be too far away.

Me?
I make a fair wage for the region. Could make more if I worked more, but I'm happy with my 7on/7off. I'd make nearly double if I was willing to commute to Chicago. But I hate the city with every ounce of my being.

Nice thing about working in Chicago is job security. One of the websites I frequent is www.heyjackass.com It keeps a running tab on the violence in Chicago.
Mind numbing stupidity.
