My MIL and FIL are both from the burbs ( LaGrange I think ) and for the past ten yrs. my wife and her sisters and mother would spend the weekend there @ one of the high end hotels ( Ritz Carlton IIRC ) and they'd shop etc.

I'm really glad they stopped!!!

I now work in the Loop, carpool into city and then the "L" or I take the train from the burbs and walk a half mile.
