It's been over two weeks since the surgery. Been doing daily PT and going for 2-3 mile fast walks. I ran one mile today as a test. The pain is gone but the knee feels like a loose hinge.

I know that feeling.. or similar... Don't think the tendons and ligaments and stuff have adhered to the new parts yet..

Glad you're doing well.. πŸ‘

Then there is hope this will tighten up over time? There is a slight "clunk" with each step right now.

Hope you are healing up as well.

After I had mine replaced it was kind of "clunky",almost mechanical, for about 8-10 months or so.It's better now,but sometimes even now-had knee replaced in 2008-it can feel clunky at times.......Still 100% better than it used to be before surgery🌫

My lovely bride is going in for hers @ the end of the month. This thread will be somewhat helpful just as far as gauging what to expect etc. Thanks

Paul,

If it is a replacement, don't let her look online and see what they will be doing to her. If she does she probably will back out.

I almost did.
