I found nothing wrong with the way the Web site was running before so it would be interesting to hear the pitch the IT guys gave for improving it.

The place would be improved by the absence of some of "the locals" whose sole contribution consists of bashing the host ...

Dude, you're an amazing piece of work.

I have yet to buy anything on free fall and generally avoid looking at it. Never saw a good enough price on anything I wanted.

I'm with you there Tony, with the exception of the Jaime Garcia Robusto 10-Pack....bottoms out at $34.99.
They are great with a long nap imo.
Well, it USED to drop down to 34.99.
We'll see when they get FF running again.

There was another good deal regularly on FF, but I can't remember what it was.

I've bought quite a few things off free fall back in the day.

I used to buy the DPG blues / blacks. Haven't seen them on there in a while.

^this.

My guess would be they upgraded their ERP which exposed how bad the site was initially programmed.

I noticed all kinds of flaws with the site even before the big oops of 2017.

All legacy stuff, I doubt the original writers are even available to work on it :)

... unless SteveS is the original developer maybe???

Alas, we as consumers don't really care if a website is bad or not, we only care if we get good deals.

I went back to look at my orders to see how long ago I bought some cigars. I can't load my orders as "all" as I get an error message. In the 90 days option I have 4 orders which appear to be correct except for the math. The order total on all 4 orders exceed the actual dollar amount by as much as around $ 200 an order. Something has seriously gone wrong there.

Ya, mine don't show up either. I don't have any in the past 90 days though, thought I bought something in that range, guess I didn't.

I probably would have done some bidding, but after watching the waves of noobs rolling through, I thought better of it.
