I have probably a half dozen of each guillotine and V cutters with a bunch of punches lying around too.

I use whatever's in my vicinity. Usually a pocketknife.

V cut works nice on a torp or small ring guage but makes a figurado like a fish

I only use a v cutter on box pressed cigars.

No tar buildup...ever
