Chicago is a really fun town but also a royal pita to get around. Live as close to work as possible.

I am right downtown in the Loop. I moved from NE Kansas, sold a house on 10 acres and now have a 900 sq ft condo. There are buildings here with more people than my whole town so it’s a new world for me.

Robo60 I’ll definitely try to meet up with you sometime. I would love your advice and hear some stories about the trading floor. I’ll be working for RJ O’Brien as a broker. I’m still in awe about so many things here.

never been there but had family that lived there for decades. You're gonna love it.
Congrats on the new journey.

Chicago has the best and worst of everything. Art, culture, crime, politics. Know your neighborhoods - there are places you just don't go.....dont act like a scared Country bumpkin - the jackals can smell fear........and enjoy the show.

Well I got a new job and my wife and I are moving to Chicago. If anyone has any places I need to go for cigars or to eat or see let me know. I’d be happy to receive suggestions.

Don't forget that the "L" is your friend. My Aunt lived near Lincoln Square back in the 80's and never owned a car. A car in the city is an expensive waste. One of my favorite cities. I hope it works out for you and have fun. 🌫
