Medalists have a connie wrapper? I don't recall the originals that way.

yes, Honduran Connecticut actually. First two shortcuts show the original. A.B. Medalist with a Costa Rican wrapper back in 2005!

PRIVATE AUCTION! Seems like every retailer is dumping bundles of these now a days. $67.50 ain't bad.

Also over bid $49.99 on a Box of 10 of 6" x 50 Toro. "The Con", like the A.B. Medalist, ALSO has a Honduran Connecticut wrapper. Probably just left over Medalist Toro's dished out under a different label to "CON" us into thinking it's a different blend. We shall see. 🤔

I bought a fist full of Opus last week, some various TAAs and some warped cigar I never tried.

Retail, but he hooked me up with a couple of the smokes I picked for free (one of them was an Opus :)

That's about all I've bought in a while except for a couple boxes of Melanios I snagged on sale.

Unfortunately I already cleaned that place out of their old stock LGs on clearance about a year and a half ago...

That's what sucks about finding old stock LGs on clearance, you can only hit em up for them once.

Come to think about it, might have to take a field trip looking for more old stock LGs, I'm in danger of almost running low on them.

I think it only happens because a lot of people don't know wtf they are. I rarely find old stock LFDs.

I was buying old LFDs at a store by my old office, but I think DED goes there, so the supply dwindled more quickly than I expected (I did get quite a few of them though).

the regular La Gloria line has never been one of my favorites (Serie R is) but I do enjoy smoking one here and there. Smoekd a fiver of the 7"x 50 natural Churchills this past year. The maduro version of the La Gloria line sucks! No flavor at all. As for OPUS X. one of my locals had a basket filled with the big 7.6" x 49 Natural wrapper Double Corona size at 50% off a few years back. Pinched 2 for bout $16 each. Very good smoke at $16 per. $32 per, not even close LOL! Still want to try the OPUS maduro though.

looks like I am going to get stuck buying this Box of 10 AB B.M. Vandal The Con Toros for $50! Not even close to getting rid of the 125 being offered. My man child like need to try new blends and over pay for them will NEVER go away!

Hmm, deals? Nope, no deals as of late for me, unless you want to count ammunition. A place in Philomath is offering Hornady Critical Defense rounds buy one get one free.

first link says Honduran CT binder, not wrapper.
I didn't know they've been re-released, probably won't try them, but they now have a Connie wrapper, eh?

Per usual, re-released cigars are just reusing an honorable name for an inferior new product.

That's correct. LG's are awesome.

Maybe when the temps drop below 100 at night, I might go out and have one.

Haven't smoked a cigar in like 2 weeks, lol.

Nvr mind
I'm going to suspend my bid activity
And discuss my selections
with my more experienced friends
they'll probably be able to help
me make better choices.
Thank you for your honest opinion.

Flawed selection by who’s perspective? The fella that’s gunna smoke ‘em or one of us smart asses?

These guys can steer you toward a great stick if you provide the cigar profiles you like. Otherwise, keep doin what you’re doin. Buy 5ers and give ‘em a try. Experimenting with new/different blends is 75% of the fun
