I have a Samsung Galaxy Edge 7. Have had it almost 2 years and will be paid off next month. I lowered the insurance on it last month. Now having problems with it. Won't connect into WiFi, texts not going through. Not holding a charge as long. Today I received a text and the darn thing locked up and screen went black. Took a bit for it to get back to normal.

I had a Note 3. Loved that phone. Got the Note 7 but well obviously that went wrong so ended up with this thing. Screen cracked within months and it killed my memory card some how.

meanwhile, the rumblings have begun that will reestablish the fact that I am like a genius...

so many people have become concerned about their phone addictions (falling into man holes, walking into traffic, lost social skills) that sales of flippers have started to rise. Saw an article in the Boston Globe advising to buy used on line rather than phone stores to save money!

I normally buy the military spec phones.. I've never broke one but the battery wears down and screens scratch just like the others.. normally about half the price but the new Samsung Tactical is about the same price as the Galaxys... I'm good for a while.. 😟

replaced my Samsung Galaxy 5 that I drowned when I jumped in the pool with it in my pocket, with a used one bought on-line saving $500 + on a new 7, 8 or 9...happy with it, but I don't use it much except for texting, messaging, weather, word games, news/sports updates, fitness app, occasional photo and traffic...

Visit to Verizon was mixed bag, but mostly ok. I have insurance on the phone, but of course fd up software isn't covered. (I'd have been covered if I just tossed the phone out the window on the way to the store, though.) Verizon just happens to be having a 'deal'' this month where you can roll the 'regular insurance over into the 'good' insurance -- no questions asked, no exclusions for pre-conditions, etc. -- going to increase insurance cost from 6.75 to 13 per month -- which is pretty outrageous....but, they're sending me a new replacement phone immediately - no questions asked...and then I can cancel or drop back to regular chitty insurance coverage any time....what a racket

I think State Farm is selling phone insurance now... 😟
