Speaking of no sleep....

Fire department 5 houses down the street from me had their open house today. Which means there was basically a parade of sirens and horns for 5 straight hours. Had ear plugs in, muffs over the top, and went in the basement. Still heard em all damn day.

Gonna be a long ass night.

Dang man, I would not have been able to sleep just with all the PPE you had on. One of the benefits of being partially deaf I guess. The downfall is you miss all them free vacation calls from them Timeshare telemarketers.

It's been a rough night. Super busy, and I have a very short staffed and inexperienced crew... the no sleep thing definitely not helping me any. 9 hours in, 3 to go.

Anyhow.

recuperating from a pool party we hosted yesterday...still tired...at least we have some left-over barbecued ribs, beans, cornbread and corn on the cob...
