"Meh" is something people say when they're underwhelmed. In this context, it means mediocre sticks. Just-okay ones that don't have a ton of flavor and don't really impress. Stuff you wouldn't buy unless you're new to the hobby.
You do get some world-class sticks too, but a significant percentage is "meh" sticks. The total haul of sticks, good and mediocre, is worth different dollar amounts to different people, but as I said, once they cross the $200 mark on the cheap late-entry ticket, I'm done, and there are a LOT of other guys like me.
However if they go above $200 and eliminate the "meh" filler sticks and make them all good, then that's a different story. I'd pay more for that.
