most of the cons here were yukking it up when many lib pols and hollywood celebs/business people, like Weinstein, were exposed for past sexual misconduct...

I don't remember you posting anything in his support, or critical of the media coverage...if I'm wrong, find the post...

Dude one encounter with a prostitute is not even in the same ballpark as Weinstein...…..if half of whats been reported on him is true he is a scumbag of epic proportions and most likely a rapist.I remember no other Hollyweird celebs/business people exposed for sexual misconduct, and that's about how long this nonstory will last as well.

However since you brought up Weinstein...……...has he been convicted/punished?

There is zero chance Mr. Kraft went back for seconds knowing something like that.

Al, you gotta read ALL the words, otherwise this type of forum doesn't work.

Private sector.
I didn't mistakenly use those words together.

Hell, I even gave Al Franken and out when he was caught grabbing hooters for yucks.

I conceded that he was a hypocrite, but hardly a sexual predator. Because it was before he was elected, it was only the hypocrisy that mattered as a politico.

And you use the term "Sexual Misconduct".

Is getting a happy ending massage truly a misconduct?

Is a 77 year old widower not allowed such satisfaction? I doubt Mr. Kraft is much into the club scene.

Why are your sensibilities violated on this one?
And why are you trying to attribute inconsistency in my response?

If Matt Lauer had sex with Al Roker and his hot co-host I wouldn't care.
What I did comment on was the fact that he FORCIBLY attacked women. He used his power position and a freakin' auto locking door with remote button.

Tell me how this is the same as the full body massage with benefits.

at the risk of being accused of a hate crime, I would refuse a full body massage, with or without benefits, from Al Roker.

I just don't care, not gonna do it.

do I agree with this being a crime? Not really, most sex crimes involving consenting adults in private should not be... it is a waste of time and money to investigate and prosecute this stuff...

but I am amused that cons, who at one time believed strongly in the rule of law, now seem to have abandoned that concept and look at the person being charged...if it wasn't golden boy Kraft, but Bezos...or Buffett...or some Hollywood lib who was arrested, Patriot Way cons would be tickled pink...

Kraft has money, man. If I had that kinda coin, I'd have flown to Pattaya Beach, Thailand and got a happy ending.

His crime was going to friggin' Florida, in the US, where it's illegal. Dumbass.

the sex slaves are the real story, he walked into it (twice?).

Yes.
And the Kraft story is the good news/bad news sideshow.
Good news because the trafficking deserves the spotlight that Kraft's involvement brings.
Bad news because Kraft's story almost overwhelms the women's plight.

These are not high end call girls making personal choices that can walk away at any time.
These women were brought here under false pretenses, FORCED into sex work, families threatened, passports taken, underpaid, living in the massage rooms. The only reason Kraft got busted is because local law enforcement was doing large scale work to bust up the human trafficking....not with end goal to fine and embarrass some johns....but to protect truly vulnerable women.
