Put the kid's car seat behind the driver's seat and he fit. Had to have him behind passenger seat in the Subaru if I was driving, and his feet still needed to be turned to the sides. Now he's got room to kick the seat.

Now gotta shop for new wheels. Gonna put some feelers out for OEM takeoffs before buying aftermarket.

Brought it to the manufacturer, who is extremely good about fixing any issues and he's taking care of everything for me. He's going to put in an aluminum brace where the engine mounts so it doesn't happen again.

While he's at it... I'm having a new, black, powder-coated T-top put on to replace the flimsy aluminum one that came on it. He's selling me the T-top at his cost, and a small fee to remove the old one and mount the new. $1,000.

Had an old Boston Whaler many years ago I had to replace the transom on.. they ripped up the deck and reinforced some runners also.. had a Merc 125 6 cylinder which mighta been a little heavy for it.. worked out fine until I sold it a couple years later... 😟
