The fact that you equate a swastika with the ok symbol - which was literally started as a joke to see if naive liberals would but into it - shows you're not looking at this situation logically... Too much emotion involved for you... I get it... You hate the bad men on the right and their bad man Nazi leader who hates all colored people and gays and he eats babies...

If you've got Nazis in your group, you're doing something that likens your ideology to them.

Symbols are funny things... They can mean a lot of different things over the ages... But one thing is clear, once a group adopts them, it doesn't matter what it used to be.

No one cares that the swastika used to be something else...

The same thing is happening to the "ok" symbol and the original 13 star flag.

You can say it's because the proud boys are just trying to make the libs mad.... But thats really irrelevant. There are real white supremacists in their ranks (you can quibble whether that doesn't make the entire group white supremacist all you want)... And the symbols are used in a real and genuine way by them.

You're gonna compare that to fat white guys drinking milk in front of black people? Or people walking down the street with tiki torches? Or someone waving Old Glory?

Before you disrespect the sufferings of the entire Jewish nation again, maybe you should revisit what happened under the Nazi flag and what's happened under the proud boys...

There's images of the proudboys in DC this week carrying a 13 colony flag... So it appears it has been coopted by the white supremacists.

I imagine "#1 with white supremacists" is not an image most companies are looking for... (I mean, except the RNC)....

Man Opel... This circles back to whether being in a group which contains white supremacists is ok with you.

I would say there's even added question... "If you're in a group that appears to contain white supremacists, but you can't be really sure who's actually a white supremacist, and who's just acting that way to be an azz, then how can you expect anyone from the outside to be able to differentiate?"
