not long ago was talking to a younger friend who has waiting to advance in the MBTA (local rapid transit agency). He's a bus driver...so I jokingly said "just need a coupe of old Irish guys to die, eh?"
He replied "nope. Haitians".

we both laughed, but it really illustrated how different our big city is from the 60's and 70's.
