My projection shows Dorian building up to a category 5 and heading straight for Alabama. Hold on y’all!!!

Brings me back to the old wrestling match on the banks of the river Charles over a disagreement on another forum many years ago that I would have won if the opponent's wife didn't intervene with a metal folding chair. I guess a draw is OK, but a rematch sounds better. The sequel of wifes wrestling on a Cancun beach never materialized. I guess life is too short for major fun.

Now that the latest dust-up of boring proportions seems to have ended, we need to have Pic Posts of the wives that were involved by marriage and a poll to determine which of them were more likely to kick Drafter's ass and which was the hottest. I was home, and he was driving to the Cape but doing that 195 route I think.
I like Tony, but I already had a cup of coffee that morning.

and yeah, he's had some below the radar humorous stuff sneak by for a few months.

No, it's still there.

It's just that a couple knuckleheads hijacked the thread and had a prolonged catfight,
and your post got buried in their post-pile.

Guess they were jealous of Dorian getting the spotlight.

considering the dire forecasts and the destruction done to the Bahamas, the east coast of the US caught a big break dodging Dorian...glad everybody here is safe...

Um, hello!
Dorian is gonna pass within a few hundred mile of the Cape tonight.

My potted plants and deck chairs might tip over, and you're here rejoicing?

Won't be the first time you hear this today, but you're a bit premature sir.

Well, an outer band of the Hurricane moved inland and hit us early this AM. Just light rain and little if any wind so far. Should also be hitting Joe on the cape but it doesn't look like much to talk about. Dunno if it will have any effect on the Maine coast, but I'll be there in a week to check it out. Haven't heard any reports from Alabama, but I feel sad for the people of the Bahamas who got the brunt of this storm. I went thru 2 or 3 of these storms in Florida, but only one in Ft. Lauderdale was really bad , where we did lose power for 3 days.
