hey jespear...in parts of Chinese culture, crickets are considered good luck and treated like pets...

That's what I heard....[-(

I got a package of crickets in X-mas stocking one year......they were garlic flavored.....My grandson ate them, it was pretty gross, when he turned and smiled at me, he had all kinds of cricket legs and stuff stuck in his teeth.....yucch 🤦

I liked the grasshoppers, they were crispy and salty. They tasted like those sesame snack sticks. I had no idea what they were until I hit the bottom of the bowl and saw the legs. The Koreans I was with didn't know the English word. Oh well, they went great with the OB and Soju we were drinking. 🍺

balut I'm less likely to enjoy.

Can't stand food where you leave the bones in. It just bugs me. The sardines you eat whole... soft-shell crab... I'll eat it... but I don't particularly like the idea.

There's a beijing delicacy made from pig lower intestine... that's actually delicious

Fired up the pressure washer and cleaned the house. The siding and stuff, didn't do the inside.

Caught the chickens and clipped their wings since they been getting out.

Brats for dinner. Been thinking of making a smoked meatloaf, but not sure if that's even a thing. Tomorrow I'll give it a shot. Too many things to do today.

Wife wants me to book another camping trip next weekend I'm off. I hate weekend camping .

True story... My wife makes chicken adobo while my pops is visiting... she brings me a plate, shredded chicken mixed with rice and broth already. She hands my dad a plate with broth covered rice and a chicken leg and thigh. Dad looks at his plate, then looks at mine and says... "Jesus, kid... you got her trained".
