Pitch more yeast. Better yet make a starter.
It's a game changer if you're trying heavier beers. Anything over 1.05 sg is gonna need more than one dry pack (check the dates - they expire) or more than two wet packs despite what the recipe may call for, and youre gonna need temp control - basements work or garage in the fall. I'm not a huge fan of the wet pack yeasts, they lose cell counts well before the expiration date. They're great if you make a starter though, lots of variety available to you. Just needs a little more work on your end.
