Good point. Scotch, then pizza and Pinot Noir, then back to scotch. And about to go to bed. Probably related to the scotch, wine and pizza.

During my college days (...”daze”...) there were a couple of years when I quit drinking beer and would order a large pitcher of wine cooler to go along with pizza. Often times I worked the next day, hungover like nobody’s business. [gonzo]

Can't blow the leaves off of the roof in the morning. They are frozen on. 90% chance of falling off and breaking my neck. Or, another head injury- like my brain could handle another concussion.

Heading to Appleton instead for a slice of Sal's Pizza and a cigar with a buddy or two.

Chit, I have a '65 Corvette and the radio works just fine. No reason to take in in for replacement. Only problem is it plays Sonny And Cher tunes. 🤦

Morning folks. It's about 6oF right now with a sunny high of about 82F. There is a huge outdoor art festival this weekend, which I hope we got to today, rather than tomorrow. Woke up to neck and back ache so I took a Flexeril. We have had record breaking heat for this time of year, so I am looking forward to a nice day outside during the first cool-off of the season!

Looks like I have to go old yeller our rooster. He's gotten too big and too aggressive. Attacks anyone that goes in the chicken pen except me, I've kicked it and whacked it with a board every time it tried me.

Got the boy a couple times and he's too scared to boot it. Wife's too gentle with her swats. Might as well just lop it's head off. Doesn't do me any good anyway

Really need to mow the leaves but the ground is too wet. Need a day or three without rain.

Afternoon peeps...[ram27bat]

Wind be a blowing here today .[frypan]

.....but nothing compared to California, our prayers for all those facing fires.

Glad to see you escaped the carnage that took place up your way, Ram.
F2 tornadoes are wicked . . . as evidenced by the videos seen on the local news.
My niece lives in Warminster, and she said it was pretty scary !

On a side note, re: Not being blessed in your "lower areas" . . .

Not a big deal having a bunch of strangers see your misfortune.
Imagine having your surgery in the hospital that you work in, and facing all the nurses that REALLY know you now ! 😊
I realize that there would only be a few nurses in the O.R., but juicy gossip spreads fast !

I make them once in a while too. but from scratch, not frozen cauli crust pizza from the supermarket.
pretty easy, and though not real pizza, not a bad and filling version of it.

used to start with fresh cauli, cut the florets, pop in the food processor, but now just buy 10 oz packs of frozen riced cauliflower, the kind with no other ingredients. mix an egg or two, some (low fat) shredded cheese right in the crust, some seasoning and bake the crust for 20 minutes, add toppings, another 10 minutes in the oven...done. Sometimes needs an extra 5 minutes to firm up the crust though, if there's too much sauce and toppings usually.

I'll bring a couple to usgunner's and pop 'em in his pizza oven
