One thing I like about AJ, he doesn't seem to pull the crappy trick that many manufactuers do, where a cigar's OR is amazing, then the quality gets tanked, but the bands and boxes stay the same.

I have tons of his stuff and have been smoking it for many years, and never got a single hint of this B.S. That's why I'm happy to give him my money, because he's one of the seemingly increasingly-rare honest guys in this business. What you smoke at OR, you will still smoke 5 years later, if you buy the same item... not a pale imitation, a self-counterfeit made with crap tobaccos. Bravo, sir!

I agree with you Puddin.
But there’s one AJ smoke that falls out of this analysis and that’s the MoW Armada.
Box of 4 still priced at $60 or more........singles at $20!?..........at mothership and little sister.
This was AJs cream of the crop back 7, 8 years ago, priced at top shelf levels.

And yet fivers can be regularly won here on FF for $16, and even less at regular auction.
That’s not typical AJ shenanigans............more like Hansotia........weird.
Makes me wonder if the Armadas in the fivers are “different” than the ones in the boxes of four.

I need to smoke one of those out of the fiver I won cheap 6 months ago or so to see if it’s worth grabbing more.
Izonfire seems to like them as do a few others here.

I like some aj stuff... I actually smoke a new world every once in awhile... The last call was disappointing... I grabbed a box thinking it's aj, can't be too bad...

If there's one thing I can't stand it's an underfilled cigar... And that's what I found this to be.... Lightly filled, loosely rolled, bordering on airballish at times...
