ya know.... you could solve a lot of the complaints you've had here just by.... not swapping them out

Nope.

Snow tires cost me a lot less.

Rear ending people and multiple tows from various ditches is a lot more expensive than tires.

On the less suspenseful side of life, Casa F located. Mojitos, as advertised, are excellent. Airplane aches are fading appropriately

Nice, SOB. Enjoy your time in Sin City.

I went to my appointment with CalPers this morning. Signed my retirement paperwork. May 20th is last day working for my current employer.

I need to mail them a canceled check for my direct deposit info and a copy of my marriage certificate to prove we've been married for more than a year. Other'n that... I'm on my way to retirement.

Stopped by work and submitted my retirement memorandum to the sheriff.

I didn't even see him. I typed up the memorandum, had one of the accounting ladies scan and e-mail it to him, and put the signed copy in his mailbox. I don't think the LT had any idea... but my Sgt partners sure did.

Nah... just tired of the environment. The LT is a decent dude, and since he is sworn, he isn't gonna be there very long. He'll be back at a patrol station before this years up, I'd bet.
