The "FAILARMY" live channel alone is worth installing PlutoTV. Sit back on your sofa, relax, and watch an endless stream of morons injure themselves. Great time-waster for Coronavirus lockdown time!

Oh, they have hundreds of other live channels too (all 24x7), plus hundreds (or is it thousands?) of on-demand movies and TV shows. All free.

Hard to beat free. I have their app installed on my Roku, and it's just great. My favorites are the live channels dedicated to 007 Bond movies, MST3K content and RiffTrax content.

Tons of other channels of every type imaginable. The live concert music channel is particularly nice, been loving that lately!

Just a great "plop down and kill time" app. It's like an entire cable system (including on-demand) all contained in a single app for free.

All legit too, no pirate crap. PlutoTV is owned by Viacom who properly licenses all content, so it's all nice and legal for everyone to use.

Yes, the live channels and on-demand programs have non-skippable commercials. The solution I use? Be working on a book, with a bookmark. Commercial break starts, mute and pick up book and continue reading where you left off. Break ends? Insert bookmark, set down book, unmute, watch. Works awesomely!

Laura Ingraham's show on FNC tonight (10PM timeslot) had some interesting stuff.

She again talked about hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin and how they show promise.

She interviewed a guy who was strugging with coronavirus for 9 days and thought he was going to die. Fever and difficulty breathing, no conventional meds helped. He heard about hydroxychloroquine and asked his doc to off-label approve it for him. The doc did. He didn't mention azithromycin, but recall that in the French study, hydroxychloroquine alone did great things (57% cure versus 12.5% control, with 100% cure for the combination). Also he may have been given both, but just didn't mention the azithromycin, no way to know unless she follows up with him in future shows and asks directly.

He took the first dose Friday night and went to sleep. In the morning on Saturday he said he woke up and took a deep full breath. What the hell? Then he noticed the fever was gone, and he felt like he had nothing, felt totally normal. He kept taking his doses, and he told her on the show tonight that's he's being discharged from the hospital soon, I think he said tomorrow. Most hospitals don't discharge unless you've had two negative COVID-19 tests in a row, which means his body is probably clear of detectable virus... just like in the French study. Interesting, no?

I predicted that anecdotal successes would start pouring in this week. This looks like the first one, hopefully of many.

I suspect there will be many more to follow this week. Laura also interviewed an infectious disease specialist at LSU who said her hospital and other area hospitals are giving hydroxychloroquine to quite a number of patients right now, and are watching to see what happens. Again no mention of azithromycin, but maybe they're giving it too and she just didn't mention it.

Azithromycin is so well-known, widely-used and quite low in side effects that I would think that, given the French study's impressive results with both, that many docs would give both, not just hydroxychloroquine alone. I don't know what the deal is with that. It might be clarified in the coming days though.

Dude and his wife got a bunch of messages that chloroquine was safe and tested (from twitler, from Fox news, from facebook) and decided to self medicate with some chloroquine they got from what appears to be an aquarium kit.

You've heard, I'm assuming, the phrase "the poison is in the dose"?

People need to lay off pushing these drugs on news channels until that sh#t is properly tested and released.

Hell.... or not. I guess I don't care if more people die of dumbness.

From what I read they didn't take a combination med or anything. they took choroquine. Just was packaged at whatever dosage is used for anti-parasitic use in fish tanks. Which is.... who knows? And is also unregulated so may have a wide margin of error....even if he bothered converting back to human-safe dosage.

So apparently now we're talking about lifting the quarantines?

Not only does #2 have all the benefits listed above, but it can also prevent her from wasting future hospital resources.

For example, if she recovers now, then years from now she might hear from some moron on Facebook that drinking bleach cures cancer or some other retarded schitt and she'll believe it and drink it, and she'll probably waste more hospital resources. If she's already been dead for years, she can't do that.

I'm expecting another interesting occurrence in about 1 week.
All the current catastrophe has occurred within a single month... small businesses being closed, hourly workers not getting any wages, AirBnB/Hotels not getting much business....

That's all going to have an impact on the rent payments the first of the month.

I've heard stories of AirBnB "owners" in big cities actually being renters illegally subletting multiple listings through AirBnB. I don't know what percentage of the rental market that is made up of, but if it's of any significant size, that will contribute...

Essentially around the 5th of the month there will be a real income gap shifted to property owners as renters who are unable to pay their rent default.

This could be interesting.
