I've got a couple of the Oliva O sleeping. I just haven't had the Maduro yet.
Last Friday night Mr. Mean was in Houston and we hooked up for a mini herf. I startd with a PAM Exclusivo, he was smoking a Padron 2000 when we met. My second smoke of the evening was an ISOM San Cristobal gifted to me by Mr. Mean. He's not so mean after all. he,he. I finished up with a HDM Prensado Oscuro.

Steve ... the 'O' maduro is not that easy to find.

For those of you looking to find them (at a price) the Olivo O Maduros are available at Smokin'Toys Int'l on Michelson Dr. in Irvine, CA. They are really fine cigars, hard to find and not cheap!

Slim ... I came across them in Utah and picked up three .. smoked one on my birthday and have two in my humidor ... they are still in my humidor, despite being a really wonderful cigar for the simple reason that I have yet to find replacements for them ... if they WERE easier to find, I'd have got more and those'd be the ones aging ... Also in Utah, I picked up an Opus X at a price far below what we'd have had to pay here in CA and also got several Bucanero maduros which are not only difficult to find in CA but to my knowledge are impossible to find inasmuch as Bucanero has no West Coast distribution ... I have four of those in the humi alongside the two Olivias ..

One of my current favorites is HdM Governor/Rothschild in X.

Another of my favorite maduros I didn't mention, but should've done is Mayorga ... I know that not everyone agrees on this one, but to my taste, this is one fine cigar ... smoked one last night and wondered how I'd ever overlooked mentioning this one among my favorites ... then I recalled the last Mayorga maddie I'd smoked ...

Those of you that saw the moose pics I posted last month might remember my saying that I'd been smoking a Mayorga maddie when the moose showed up and that they'd left right after it was nubbed ... I reminded MrsS last night that it'd been a Mayorga that had drawn the moose and told her to keep an eye out for 'em in our back yard, but they never arrived ...

I can get the "O" maduro for 6 bucks a stick. Is that expensive? The same shop has short stories for 5 bucks a stick, plus tax of course.

What? No Indian Tabac fans? Strong and smooth, never bitter. Not very complex. But tasty!

I had my first Indian Tabac Super Fuerte Maduro today with this thread in mind. Wow! Strong, smooth, taste changed as I smoked it. Licorrice? Cedar? It didn't screw up my mouth like some strong cigars do. Superfine all the way. I am hooked!

Robert, like Slim says depends on size of cigar! That sounds about right! I had rather get a great deal on them on line from CI...........bid board!!! Short Story, I do not know about since I have never smoked one! I hear they are great and have read the comments, maybe I should try one!
