Coffee now, about to set up eLearning for the boy, then he has a zoom meeting with his class, followed by a zoom call with his birthday buddy. Got a landscaper coming later to see what I can do about the flooding in the yard. Hopefully this time I can get someone to actually do something. I have had 4 people out, one person said he can't do anything, another said he was gonna give me a quote and never heard back, another said he wanted to try something we agreed on a price and he was gonna start on such and such he never showed, the other said all they can think of is to regrade the whole yard which is gonna be expensive. I have done a drain before but the way my back yard is where the problem is, is so low that for me to run a drain pipe to the front yard I would need to dig like 5+ feet in the yard to get it to drain right. Not sure I want to do all that myself. What really screws us is the homeowners behind us years ago (different owners now) put all rock in the yard along the fence and about 10 feet back for a patio area, so all that water comes to the grass in my yard. New owners have a garden that they can't keep water cause of the rock. I'm hoping to build up that area to redirect the water to them

Ugh... 730 am teleconference with china. Interesting information, but a pain in the ass to get up for.
On the up-side, we've almost identified ourGFCI tripping issue.... seems to be a combination of current leakage at the site, and current leakage from our system (which trends up over a few hours of operation, then levels out.....which is why some of my field testing was taking about an hour to get a failure). By itself, neither causes a problem... but when the two are combined, we see an issue.

I have mentioned multiple times that I am not here to acquire any free cigars. I still feel guilt about the few bombs that were sent to me. And I am not ready to trade with anyone. I do not have the kind of stock that anyone would appreciate, except for Puddin, and he’s not dumb enough to get involved. When I am ready, I will make it known. Somebody please read this to Palama, as I know he can’t read. And poke him in the forehead a few times to make sure he understands. I know sometimes he has difficulty…

Looks like the hospital is starting to reopen. Surgery schedule is relatively full through the end of the week, and packed all next week with all the delayed surgeries.

Not sure yet what it means for me other than we'll be busy again/still

Could mean I get to work in my home unit again. Or since I've done nothing but covid for over a month, they might isolate me away from my "clean" unit.

We were short on supplies last week I worked, I'm hoping that's since been resolved if we're starting up surgeries again.

Gearing up for my annual hand-to-hand combat with the palm trees. No motorized appliances allowed, and watch out for Africanized bees or wasp nests while on the ladder.

I usually am able to sever a hundred limbs but come away bloodied and fearing the next encounter.
