Bit of a forced retirement but given the situation, glad to be riding off. I talked to the new guy yesterday and found out that all the sales reps are required to make 40 phone calls and send 40 emails a day. So 400 contact attempts a week. Super glad I wasn’t considered an employee and forced to even do 20 and 20.

I asked for and received the approval from the COO to keep my old cell number and in lieu of a gold watch, even the cell phone. Of course I’m gonna have to transfer everything over and pay for the service but at least don’t have to buy a phone and let everyone know of my new number.

A few return emails and then after dinner, a Padron and a nice pour from a to-be-opened bottle of Blanton’s Straight From The Barrel. This one is the last of the two I purchased during our Japan trip in ‘17.

didn't picture you a picky eater... I eat chili on anything... goes good with everything and everything is better smothered in chili... bet those people on donner pass wouldn't have had peep to say if they'd had some chili to smother that thigh meat...

Mahalo Delta, Ram, Danm, 8 and Frankie!

Got a 2nd wave of goodbye / congratulatory messages so spent the afternoon replying to all of them. Dinner soon and then out in the garage with a really nice Padron and the Blanton's. Got baby and dog sitting duties tomorrow so can't go overboard. :-"
