Making homemade Taco Bell crunchwraps today.

Haven't had Taco Bell since we were on vacation and stopped in ATL to visit the zoo. I think that was three years ago now. Maybe four.

But I ate a crunchwrap when I was there and enjoyed it. So I'm gonna make em for dinner, but with real meat n veggies n stuff.

My Yeti cooler came today.

I was super excited until I opened it.

That fuzzing thing is TINY!!! I matched dimensions to the coolers I normally use - Coleman Xtreme 70qt. But the two Colemans I got the lid has ripped out of the hinges and I thought getting something a lot more durable would be worthwhile.

But internally it's 9x10x18. Internal on my others is 12x13x25. When I bought it I guess I was looking at external dimensions. For $300 I expected a LOT more. I don't think this thing could hold much more than one big bag of ice and be full without any other cargo.

Already printed return label, gonna drop it off in a bit.

That's my issue with them... They take up a lot of room for what they'll actually hold... Big Coleman and ice blocks (not bags) are still my go to...

Still looking down $300+ for a decent size.

I think I'm just gonna take the refund and walk. I can't justify $300+ for an icebox. My sub $100 coolers do what I need em to do, and I can buy a lot of ice for the price difference.

Only reason I shopped a yeti was the nurse discount. Brought it down enough I thought it would be worth a try. But the one I bought was way too small. If I stuck with yeti, I'd be looking at $450 ($360 after discount) and rtic, Pelican are at 350.

I did the same mental gymnastics last summer and ended up buying a fridge instead. I have a tiny silent 800w generator, and I just run that with the fridge for dry cold storage. Everything else can float in ice baths for a $5 bag of ice every two days in the hottest months.

I don't think I'll be seeking a replacement.

Especially considering my entire summer is canceled, I have no practical use for one.

It didn't turn out to be the value it was represented to have, or what it had characteristically. Some stems and a little leaf ground from two different strains both mixed together, I forget which. We are going to use it to make a concentrate. My son is research cold and cold water methods so to avoid solvents. I also understand there is a some way with dry ice, he says

I use bubble bags for my homemade solventless... Works with water and ice or just chunks of dry ice, no water...

Problem with solventless is that unless you use actual flower, the purity kinda ain't great...

On the other end of the spectrum, I just discovered live resin diamonds... Live resin just refers to the processing of fresh plant material - usually flash frozen - as opposed to cured product... The terpenes are way more intense... I like live resin for most of my hash products...

The "diamond" aspect is new to me... It's like little crack rocks in a light "sauce".... They're formed through a "recrystalization" process...

I don't understand it... it's not only potent but the smell/flavor is like marijuana perfume... Very intense, extremely concentrated....

64 million budget shortfall for our department... lots of people who just got hired in the last year or two are about to get laid off.

I probably picked a good time to decide on leaving... though it was blind luck and not due to any idea that this was gonna happen.

all levels of government are in for a rough ride the next year, or two, or three...

towns, cities, public schools and special districts, colleges and universities, counties, states, federal workers....all should be prepared for pay cuts, furloughs and lay offs

We, the people, need money to spend money so that the economy gets stimulated. In the short-term, we need to have huge government hand-outs weekly or monthly to stimulate the economy.
