youngest daughter is spending a couple of nights here and after a late night of dominos and margaritas, she wanted some cold apple juice for the dry mouth this morning. I didn't bother to change the label or write something on theta of the Apple juice bottle that my brother brought me that is full of Apple Pie Shine! She got two big gulps before the heat hit her, LMAO!!!

unseasonably cool here, saw neighbors had some stuff covered with sheets and such for frost protection! I don't feel like trying to teach them how to avoid all that work when they are either in the shady spots, or if not, all they need to do is rinse the frost off before sunup. Subdivision life can be comical at times. Although, I may have to check the weather for tonight since the fancy red maple tree is looking good in the front shrub bed now. The things are VERY tender AND expensive. It already took one dose of frost after it had leafed out, doesn't need another round.

Son graduated from college this week and we are throwing him a party tonight with lobsters, crabcakes and shrimp (10-15 count). He thinks he is just going to grill for us tonight. He doesn't yet know the surprise we have in store for him. But, his grandmother can't be there because we don't allow casual visitors and she won't leave her condo except to go to the store. Food Fiesta!

I got about 4 hours of sleep... 0530-0930 and got up. Was considering a few beers but figured that'll just put my ass right back to sleep.

Ours just finished up at Indiana U too. Waiting on final project grade from one of his classes, but could get a 50% on it and still pass

"Watched" the new Star Wars Disney movie with the wife. Which means I laid on the couch and took a nap with my dog.

Now I'm awake and refreshed.

Mornin' dudes. Woke up way too early.

Sour dough French toast for breakfast. Got up at 0230 cause wife pushed me outta the bed, so back to my couch. Dunno why I even try to sleep in there at night. Watched TV for a bit, fed the animals when the sun came up, and then fed the humans. Gonna go to bed soon.

The sound of an untethered chainsaw awoke me at 230. Did get back to sleep until 4.

The chainsaw is now sleeping on the couch.

I don’t think I started Mothers Day out very well.

The weather is better than that though. So I got that going for me. Rain & 38.

Thinking about starting the day with vodka again. Worked okay yesterday.
