Science denier here.
Seriously though, "science" covers a broad range of disciplines and professions. My wife majored in biology, she spent a lot of time in a genetics lab, they got real answers through research. On the other hand I got a minor in psychology, also a science. Most of psychology is based on theory and opinion. At least that's how it was for the courses that I took, during that time period. Not much provable information. Both disciplines are "science"
It seems to me that a lot of what gets passed off as science today is really nothing more than "political" science.
For instance, Climategate. 2009. A lot of those scientists got caught making their research look like earths temp was rising at a rapid rate when it wasn't . Whether you believe in their re-brand "climate change" isn't my point. My point is, that is an example of politics, not science. I know it's the same political bs when conservatives act like it's no big deal that big business pollutes our air, water and food.
So for me personally it's not that I deny science, it's more of a question of, is it science with a political spin?
