I'm up.

Seems as most folks get older they need less sleep. My body seems to relish it.

It’s more fractures of sleep. 3 hours here, 2 there, then an hour 45.

The nights of 7+ hours of straight through sleep is over, I fear.

Falling asleep can be annoying. At least when driving.

I was driving home from San Diego and woke up to see the back end of a semi getting closer. Stopped in time, but woke my wife up from her slumber when I slammed on the brakes. 🤦

Hate when da wife wakes up for that kind of stuff. Always ends up with me lying my azz off. Sleeping? Hell no! That rumble strip just jumped out in the middle of the lane all of a sudden

Four underage guys coming home from a long night of drinking in Mexico just about sunrise. I was the least drunk so I was deemed the driver. Ever had a dream that a truck horn sounded like a long way off but kept getting louder and louder? Jerked the wheel back just soon enough to miss a 18wheeler by inches. I'll never forget the look on his face. All three buddies mumbled something but never even opened their eyes.

Pool maintenance today. Cleaned all filters, back flushed, skimmed and brushed. Water is refreshing but not cold and will be good without running the mister until about mid-July when it turns into bath water temps.
