it's possible the latest generation of black Americans aren't being taught by their elders how to survive in white America anymore...
when I was young, we lived in a mixed neighborhood...interesting hearing the black moms and dads telling their kids how to act around whites, especially white cops...
I remember running home at nightfall with my next door neighbor...we had been playing at the park...I asked him why we were running and he told me about the "street light " rule...black folks had to be indoors by the time the street lights came on, or they'd get the third degree, or worse, from the cops...
