Raining again. I may start on an ark. We are having a family get together today! Living on the edge, there will be 12 of us. Have a great day all!

Rain here too. Lawn is a good 8" over most, and well over a foot in the areas that get the chicken and septic runoff.

Looks like we're repeating last year with late and heavy rains.

In a few days when I'm off I'm gonna have to raise the mower deck mounts to get enough clearance to actually mow. Replaced a few parts but still runs poorly once hot and under load. I'm pretty certain it's a head gasket on the right cylinder. Had a mouse nest in there last year that filled all the cooling fins. I found it when I changed the oil mid summer and cleaned it out, but I'm thinking there was probably some overheating done and after the winter the head gasket let go.

I need to mow though. If I bring the deck up to 6" I think I can bog through it and then bring it back down, mow again, then tear down the engine.

Kinda tempted to just buy a new mower tho...

I really do. I woke up at 7am and when I worked days, I was up by 0330. Didn't hurt that I slept 4-5 hours yesterday morning and then another 8 or so last night.

Probably go for a walk after coffee.

My wife just made me chala french toast, which I devoured. Left a little piece for later. Still waiting for the sugar rush to kick in. Maple syrup...

Looks like another nice day. Already smoked 2 cigars and did a bunch of yard work. More work to come after lunch- should be exhausted again by tonite.
