The concentration camps are monuments to those who were killed - not those who killed them. I can see where you would be confused about this "subtle" difference.

Long live our Soviet motherland,
Built by the people's mighty hand.
Long live our people, united and free.
Strong in our friendship tried by fire.
Long may our crimson flag inspire,
Shining in glory for all men to see.

While statues are being vandalized across the United States, protesters in Seattle have chosen to spare a notorious statue glorifying murderer Vladimir Lenin
So, let’s get this straight: According to the far-left mobs in Seattle and Portland, honoring the man most responsible for creating what has become one of the freest nations in the history of the world — George Washington — is bad, but Communist propaganda celebrating one of the 20th century’s most prolific killers is tolerable, or even good?

Next we need to get rid of all those church statues no matter what the mackerel snappers say.

They did that in the USSR. It didn't quite work out Comrade. Is there anything in the Constitution you do like? You better take away all the citizens guns before you do that. I suggest you start at Doc's place. I'm sure that will go well!

We all know it's time to ignore that seperation of church and state thingy. I mean this is America right?

What if a statue of MKL was vandalized? It would cause riots in the streets and guy would be drawn and quartered on live CNN.

I'm not for rioting, looting or anything illegal. Throw the book at that.

I'm also not for celebrating the traitorous losers who rose up against our flag and our country and murdered true Americans in the name of their wicked lifestyle. It is an abomination to god.

I in no way shape or form think it is equivalent to destroying ancient religious statues of the Buddha etc. Jefferson Davis dressed like a woman. The Buddah did not.

If the statues were built prior to 1860 I suppose they can stay with a highly visible plaque next to them describing their traitorous sedition, and how we kindly allowed them to live let alone prosper while the just and right punishment should have been death by hanging. Their horrific actions should be pointed out in a non flattering way and there should be a national law allowing folks to piss on them for a $1 donation to the deficit. $2 to poo. Deficate for the deficit. Maybe we should also require a fountain in the shape of Sherman pissing on them be built by each one. We could crank it up each night to clean things a bit in prep for the next day.

Those built after 1860, especially the ones built in the 1950s in reaction to and against the civil rights movement should be pulverized and incorporated in to a new monument larger than Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse combined. The monument should be of good ol Tecumseh Sherman and should be in the Atlanta City Center. Maybe even make it usable as the capital or something. An eternal flame is a must maybe even fueled by confederate flags and people named cooter.

As for Thomas Jefferson, Washington, Grant and especially the great Gen Sherman etc.... whomever is messing with those statues of any party, any color or creed..... they will be given free room and board and become part of the work force building the new monument until completion.

so, there was what, a secret society or somethin that built a bunch of statues in 1950 and placed them all across the country with the intent to keep the black man in their place..?? who was in charge..?? who gave permission to put them up..?? I mean the USA was doing pretty well at that time.. maybe we just had a bunch of post-war brass and bronze and stuff and put it to use.... I guess the conspriracy theory sounds better if your defending the riots and vandalism and stuff.... 😟

To be fair, the monuments mostly went up before the 1950s. They were put up between 1890s and 1920s, during the Jim Crow era. The 1950s was the popularization of the pretend "confederate flag" which was the symbol of the democrats down there.

I'm sticking with 1860 as my cut off date. Not going to get in to who or why they were built. The date will suffice.

Our fuxking moron of a president just tweeted this:

Donald J. Trump@realDonaldTrump
I have authorized the Federal Government to arrest anyone who vandalizes or destroys any monument, statue or other such Federal property in the U.S. with up to 10 years in prison, per the Veteran’s Memorial Preservation Act, or such other laws that may be pertinent.....
.....This action is taken effective immediately, but may also be used retroactively for destruction or vandalism already caused. There will be no exceptions!

Now, the "Veterans Memorial Preservation Act"
https://www.congress.gov/108/plaws/publ29/PLAW-108publ29.pdf

pertains to Veterans of the US armed forces. Does this moron not realize that the US Armed Forces fought against the confederates?
