Boston's Art Commission buckles under the weight of snowflakes.

"What I heard today is that it hurts to look at this piece, and in the Boston landscape, we should not have works that bring shame to any groups of people -- not only in Boston but across the entire United States."
- Ekua Holmes, vice-chair of the Boston Art Commission.

Well, he was a republican and he advocated for peaceful demonstrations, so I guess he has to go.

So in the real world you hang out with like minded people. Then you duck in here to criticize those who diasagree with you?

A simplification. I have no problem hanging out with people who have different opinions on political topics. A well hidden fact is I'm probably more conservative than many on this board... when it comes to actual politics. That puts my opinions on many things at odds with my friends. That's not an issue however because these are political discussions, and people are allowed to have different political ideas.

Many topics discussed here in the "politics" tab are not politics. they boil down to questions of whether individuals should be allowed to have equality in america. I would never hang out with someone in person who disagrees with me on these topics because they are morally reprehensible. That's not actually politics.

People here think it's politics, because strangely one political party has decided nazis have "fine people" on their side is an acceptable statement.
