I don't have a problem with name calling as long as it is substantiated with concrete evidence to support it.

If it makes you feel better HD, think of me as one of the losers. It doesn't matter to me. Actually I am carrying on a conversation with Brewha. It's about how divided and vicious both sides have become. Each and everyone of us can choose to continue or choose to stop. I have allowed myself to act in an ugly manner. I choose to stop. Plus of course the obvious.

I have never seen such strong polarization between conservatives and liberals. It now tends towards violence. Donald J. Trump tweeted remarks to insight more conflict; “Antifa Scum”. And I know many on the Right feel this is deserved.

While I criticize the knuckle draggers for their views, I know that many of the hard core conservative would fight to the death for our way of life. I’m not so sure I could say that about the intellectual Left. That is to say that there is virtue on both sides.

Michigan's governor today declared a public health emergency and is closing restaurants, bars, schools, etc., etc., for a three-week shutdown and is also imploring folks to work from home and to limit from only guests from one single family.

You miss my point entirely. My side won, yes. I'm choosing to stop being ugly to the side that lost.

Perhaps I can find a better understanding of their POV. Perhaps I can find merit in part of their point of view. Perhaps I can dig deep and find a better me. Perhaps I can be less antagonistic.

After all the truth is I only have to account for my actions. Yeah kind of corney, to self helpish, sort of winey, but something I am going to do for myself.

Frank, I wrote this while drinking a nice Red Burgundy. So I meant to use winey wordsmith.

It is at that. Cheaper too. Each to his own vices. Though I will admit whisky and cigars go great together. When I tried a cigar with wine I had one of my I really f'd this one up moments.
