Gavin Newsom refers to those countries as “Alderaan”. HQ for the rebel alliance. There are pockets of resistance but these soon will be crushed.

A couple of county sheriffs, in California, said that they weren't going to enforce the governors lockdown orders this time. I think it was Orange and Riverside Counties.
Kind of surprised me being California and stuff.
So I guess businesses in those two counties don't have to close.

I wonder whether the governor has the right to fire or demote the sheriffs and install someone else?

Sheriffs are elected here... they can be dismissed if they get caught doing somethin bad tho... it's happened a few times here... taking drug money and stuff.. 😟

Sheriffs in Orange and Riverside Counties are also elected...county supervisors can only remove them for cause...not gonna happen over this...Gov. can't touch them...

letting everybody use common sense and decide what is best for themselves has been America's default response...few government mandates have been completely followed or enforced...so here we are, thinking the vaccine will be our ticket out...

even though nearly a third of Americans won't take the vaccine...wonder what percentage of peeps have to take the vaccine for us to reach herd immunity...

they say that 70% of the population needs to get infected to achieve herd immunity...if we add those who've gotten infected and survived to those who get vaccinated, will that be enough for me to safely go out and grab a burger, fries and a shake?

Sheriff Bianco won't be enforcing any covid mandates from Gov NewSCUM. Neither will the Sheriff's in San Diego, Orange or San Bernardino counties. They are encouraging people to act responsibly and go about their bidness.

He's a man of da peoples.

Gym... open. Barber shop... open. Restaurant where my son is working... open. Other gym where he teaches yoga... open.

NewSCUM can eat a fat d*ck sandwich.

We’ve got 20% empty ICU, have not stopped normal medical procedures, and have closed everything down even though we don’t meet Newsom’s criteria for closure yet.

We follow orders before the orders are even given!

The thing about ICUs being full is it a problem if you need it for something else even if you don’t give a **** about people dying from Covid

The national hotspot maps of ICUs are pretty splotchy right now some areas nothing others completely full kind of depends where you’re at
