Truth be told HD, that part is fine. I never intended to have children. My paternal side of the family goes back at least 4 generations with fathers that savagely beat their children. I intended to break that chain.

It took Sandy some time to convince me that I will never be like that. This is a concern that I live with.

it is telling that I can't remember why I spanked him...so inconsequential...
