This is the worst hay fever season I can ever remember. It was cool and raining last night and I had to put the AC on and practically OD on allergy meds to get to sleep without my eyes and throat swelling shut. Anyone else noticing this?

My sinuses have been pretty stuffy for going on a week now. The trees are budding so the pollen count has been high and expected to continue for a bit.

There's a lot of dogwood trees around me. Although they look nice, I'd like to do a George Washington to them. Forget the hatchet, I think I'll rent a Bobcat and go on a tree killing spree.

Not so much, after a few years of allergy shots I am doing much better. Air filters in the house, showering in the evening instead of the mourning and when it's bad a Claritin-D (The variety you have to show your license to buy) at night really helps.

How often do you have to get this shot? When I was a kid my hay fever was BAD. As I got older it pretty much went away. The last few years it's getting really bad again. At this point I'd take heroin if it helped.

Plenty of pollen here but no allergies for me. The morning 5 miler turned into a 6 since it was a nice 67 and low RH. Inching closer to the 100 mark and pool season each day.

I started off weekly, now it's maintenance level, every two or three weeks. Lucky for me, my RN wife gives the shots, actually she also gives herself an allergy shot. Because of the number of things that bother me, I actually get two shots each time, one in each arm.

As you age allergies typically get better, but not always. I got tired of frequent ear and sinus infections so I finally went to my wife's allergy Doc and got tested. Turns out I was allergic to all sorts of stuff, mold dust, grass, several trees, dogs, etc.

I had it bad when I was a teenager. Runny nose, watery eyes... all spring and summer. Whatever I am allergic to (never found out, just suffered thru it) is not in the southwest because it has not bothered me. Recently I have been short of breath, especially while exercising... had it happen around this time last year, too.

Morning dudes. I am starting a 6 month French immersion program today. Though in a very limited way I will still speak and write English. I'll see if an old dog like me can learn a new trick. It is 8 days untill juniors estimated birth date! Me a dad, imagine that.

Had to quit my allergy shots after heart surgery. Took years to get from once a week to once a month. They did help but imma not start over. I'll just bitch and make everyone else miserable as well.

Been having really bad allergies for about a year... I've always had them, but this year my face has been swelling up, throat goes completely dry, eyes become unbearably itchy... I've tried all the pills, even doing a run of Allegra again right now... only one thing provides any amount of relief... cigars... I was down to one a week before all this, now I pretty much get a few hours between cigars before I'm miserable again... might need to look into the shot...

You might have Rectal Gonorrhea. When drafter first got it it started as simple itchy ass but as he itched and didn't wash his hands it spread to his eyes than pretty much all over. Have you seen a doctor?

Try Nasacort with zyrtec or alegra in combo. That works best for myself. My symptoms are similar to yous Joel.

Hey Guys,
Annual bloodwork this morning. Then took a bunch of time on our auto and homeowners policies. Next, off to the dentist for my regular cleaning. Today's temp is 91/70 with humidity. The only thing saving me is the breeze, which will be gone for the summer too soon. Then it will be like 94/80 every day with a lot of humidity and rain. Hope everyone has a good day!

Some people are lucky I guess. Ain't got no allergies, just addictions. Got rid of most of them... except cigars.
