Watching paint dry today, (technically epoxy) needs 24 hours between coats, did a coat 8, finished around 9. Now I can't do anything until it dries since all the work is in that area.

Robert, it is a complete custom build including a custom frame. I wanted a brand new vehicle as safe as anything I could buy. So literally everything. This is a rengineered vehicle from the growned up complete with CAD drawings. I've done many other engineering aspects as well. Suspension design, cornering design, saftey design, drive train design, and emmisions design immediately come to mind. This will be nicer than a Raptor or a Cobra, but completely different in concept.

Do you go to the range every week Gene? Also do you go to a long gun range or a pistol range? Just curious.

I've needed a new mower for at least the last two years. The steering is shot, transmission slips, misfire and excessive gas consumption when hot, and the deck is warped beyond repair. It would be nearly $2k in parts to properly fix it to like new and a total teardown to do it. It now takes me over 3 hours to mow (without mowing the woods) and a bit over 5 gallons of gas.

Wife insists repair is the way. She gets mad any time I bring it up that I need a new mower. Tells me to just fix what I got.

Couple weeks ago I went and tried to buy one, but it sold before I could get back with my trailer and I bought the boy a new go-kart instead.

Went today to pick up pet food. They had the mower I want out front. Someone was talking to sales guy about it. I went inside and paid for it.

If I disappear, wife murdered me. She don't know about the mower yet but she's already pissed off at me for something.

I try to go at least one day a week, sometimes more. My local outdoor rang has both a 200 yard rifle range and several 25 yard pistol ranges.

If it's raining or too cold, we also have an indoor range just a little farther away. I prefer the outdoor range as the noise level is not as bad as the indoor range, I like not counting on a filtration system for clean air and I'm a member at the outdoor range.

RE: #72

I'm good for a week or so... wife's new living room sofa/loveseat/table were delivered today and I texted her a video once it was all set up. She's happy.

Her birthday is in a week... she mentioned a handbag, and it's a Louis Vuitton. Our anniversary is less than 2 weeks after her birthday, so I think if I tell her it counts for both she'll be cool with it.

When I want cigars and stuff I just buy them. She doesn't complain, so I guess it would be fair.

I did sit in the garage drinking a beer and smoking a pipe after mowing.

Wife found the mower. Took it better than I thought she would. She ain't happy, but it's here and not much she can change about that.

Now gotta try n sell the old one.
