I use Arch Molds.

Had a podiatrist make some for me and I hated them. Found these and have some in every shoe I own, including my fishing boots. lol

Any old insoles will mold to your foot but don't correct for pronation , supination or other gate issues.

Shot myself. Ish.

Was riding passenger with the boy out in the woods.

Saw a raccoon so I pulled my gun and shot it. But then immediately felt pain in my left foot. Ignored it for a minute but there was a lot of blood.
.seems I caught a ricochet in my toe. Raccoons dead.

I have a Quiet Cool whole house fan. This time of year it is used quite a bit. It's 90 here, too, but it cools down fast when the sun goes down. Turn on the fan for a few hours with the windows open... or leave it on all night, and wake up to a 65 degree house.

Close the windows, shut the blinds... house stays cool all day.

I used to have one, and I loved it.

It pulled from an opening in the hallway between the two bedrooms and exhausted out a dormer on the back of the house.

But the wife hated it, and the dormer always leaked. So I had the roofers sheet over the hole and I removed the fan. Drywall guy working on the bathroom I had him patch the house fan hole.

Sure would be nice to have right now with no AC.

I was thinking of getting a whole house fan, spoke to wife...she said no...doesn't think we need it ...

our solar panels basically pay for our electricity bills now, and she thinks the fan will use more electricity...

I said we won't need to use the AC as much...she says she likes the cool air from the AC...

we decided not to get a whole house fan...

Boys more shook up than I am..

I told him to cover his ears but I don't think he did cause he's complaining about his ears ringing.

And talking about all the blood on his go-kart...

Might need the toe removed totally. We'll see how it heals. I took off a bigger piece than I thought. I think a bit of bone is missing. I thought it was just flesh. But the tip of the toe is not connected to the base anymore.

How do you kill an animal but still get hit by the ricochet? Sounds like what you were shooting at shot back at you?

Wound is from the bottom, not from the top. So I did not shoot through my foot. But its a good one. Should probably seek medical care. Later...

Al, you would certainly use less electricity. The house fan basically just sucks in the cold air from outside and forces it out of your attic... forcing the hot air in the attic out as well.

If it's dusty, though... you suckin' in da dust.

yeah, with constant winds and living close to the mountains, we do have dust issues
