Borrowed parents camper for the weekend. Heading up to the racetrack to play caterer to staff.

No shore power and I sold my little quiet generator with the camper. My big generator will wake the dead. I went to harbor freight to buy a new bigger quiet one, but they're sold out.

Menards has an even bigger quiet inverter generator for $900. I'm thinking about it. Sure would be nice to have AC.

Yessir... last month was a mofo for expenditures for me. Car maintenance (60k miles on a MB C300) new tires for same car, registration for my truck, Vet bill for Tank, wife's birthday/anniversary present. Grand total: $5,625.

Half of that was her handbag. 80% of it was for her car/handbag. Moral of the story... dogs are cheaper than broads.

Same here macs. With 3500 in the bathroom, 5500 in AC, 2500 on the mower, and 1500 on the go kart. Really in no position to continue to hemorrhage money. I'm out. AC went on the HELOC, anything else is gonna be debt.

But on the other hand I do need a new backup generator for the house as one of mine threw a rod and the other is likely headed there too (they're leftovers from y2k scare). I need one for camping without shore power. I got by fine with a little silent 800w unit but no AC. The $400 generator will run camper and AC, but can't run it overnight. The $900 one will do the same with the added benefit of being quiet enough to run overnight. Electric start and on wheels so wife could start it and plug stuff in if power goes out and I'm not home.

I think I'm going to just mark it as another necessary expense and put it on the card. I'm gonna have to really hit the overtime hard. I do have my motorcycle and old mower I need to clean up and sell yet. I expect close to 1k from each of those. That'll be my justification.

I invested for 10+ years, then maxed it out at 50+ the last 2 years. Saved a sh*t ton of money the last 2 years I was working, too... got a "Dave Ramsey" approved cushion in the bank and then some. Well... the "then some" is missing, now.

It's all good.

I prefer the gym but if I don't go for whatever reason... the 3-4 mile dog walk is the ticket.

Backed out on the generator for now. Had it on a flatbed cart, walked around the store to find a new ez-up canopy. Then I decided to put it back.

When the credit cards are paid off again I'll go get one. But I think there's like $1500 on CCs. That needs to go before I spoil myself with air conditioning at the race track.

Early happy Friday fellas.

I think I'm pretty well packed up. Running camper fridge overnight to fill in the morning. Other than the fridge I think I'm ready. Pitbikes in the truck, campers on the hitch. After last year I'm so excited to be getting back to the track.
