No I’m not black I’m a first generation Chinese American as many would call me. I call myself a AMERICAN. As my parents fled the last train to freedom from the commies in taking over China. My father had nothing when he came to the USA he couldn’t speak English but not only learned to speak English, but also Spanish and became a social worker to help people. As he did he realized how so many didn’t want he’ll only to be taken care of by the government and the so called free handouts kept to people down. My father also has said that the USA is the greatest nation in promoting FREEDOM. So if your going to play the race card don’t waste your breath you make yourself who you are and nobody or anything stands in your way no matter what race you are.

Tony can't help himself... he is riddled with white guilt. Pretty sure he's old enough to have owned slaves, so probably why he's feeling guilty.

I was watching Olympic wrestling. Some fat American vs some fat Russian. The announcer said "If the American wins it will be a bigger miracle than the 1980 Miracle on Ice". The American won the match 1 - 0 because the Russian was penalized 1 point. Then with the American fatty ahead on the scorecard and 5 seconds left he shouted... "DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES AGAIN!" After that... I just couldn't. Explain to me again how there is a God? This guy shouted that with sincerity and wasn't struck dead on the spot? Go ahead, explain it.

jump to the 12:15 mark.

Bishop: You never ask a navy man if he'll have another drink because it's nobody's goddamn business how many drinks he's had already, right?
Judge Smails: Wrong! You're drinking too much, Your Excellency.
Bishop: "Excellency," fiddlesticks! My name is Fred and I'm just a man, same as you are.
Judge Smails: You're not a man. You're a bishop, for God's sake!
Bishop: There is no God!

Back in 2000, I remember following him once I heard his backstory and teared up a bit when he won. The MOI was indeed incredible but when you consider Rulon's opponent, Gardener was a huge underdog and in that final match, I was just hoping he would put up a good fight. Needless to say, his victory was totally unexpected and imho, right up there with 1980.

You can't seriously mean that? He only won because the Russian guy gave up a penalty point. You're comparing that to a bunch of college kids beating the best pro hockey team on the planet at the time. During the Cold War too? 🤐

Well, I didn’t say it was better than or equal to the MOI, I said it was right up there.

Doesn’t matter that he won because of a penalty point. He won. Period.

The Russian is considered the all-time greatest GR wrestler. Until the 2000 Olympics he was undefeated with 3 consecutive Olympic gold medals while Rulon was in his very first Olympics. To win the gold against the all-time best is an awesome achievement, whether it was the hockey team or an unknown (…and probably forgotten…) wrestler.
